Dr. Carrie Bordinko, founder of Consolaré, is an accomplished physician who most recently served as Internal Medicine Chief at St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center and the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. She holds a medical degree from the Saba University School of Medicine (3.95 GPA, Dean’s award for academic excellence), and a nursing degree from Arizona State University (summa cum laude).

Some of her medical accomplishments include being named Resident of the Year at the St Joseph Hospital Residency Clinic (2005-06); nominee for the 2006 “Values in Action Award” at Barrows Neurological/ St Joseph Medical Center (out of 4000 employees), membership in Sigma Theta Tau, serving as a board member in the Yavapai County HIV AIDS Coalition (1995-98), and work for the Yavapai Regional Medical Center hospice program (1995-98).

Prior to her medical career, Dr. Bordinko spent nearly a decade in the healthcare industry as an administrator and director of business and clinical operations. From her experience and expertise in the healthcare arena, she has a unique and thorough understanding of the business of medicine and how it impacts the consumer and corporate markets.

With a global view of consumer driven healthcare topics, Dr. Bordinko stays politically active in improving the level of healthcare delivery to the end consumer. She currently serves a number of organizations, including: membership in the Arizona Geriatric Society; SIMPD Resident board; SIMPD chairperson for Resident and Medical Student Subcommittee; Arizona Women in Medicine; House staff Leadership Council representative for Internal Medicine; resident representative at GMEC, Residency Subcommittee on Post Residency Professional Development; ACP residency representative for St Joseph Hospital and Medical Center; and the Hospitalist Curriculum Development Committee.

 

Dr. Nadya Wayment is a family medicine physician with special areas of interest in: women’s health including hormone replacement therapy and menopausal syndrome, colposcopy and cryotherapy. Her other areas of expertise include: pediatrics, adolescent medicine, dermatology and anti-aging strategies, general adult medicine and preventive care.
 
Prior to joining Consolaré, Dr. Wayment worked in the Family Medicine residency program at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. She is a graduate of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and the Bukovynian State Medical Academy (cum laude) in the Ukraine.

Her past work experience includes serving as a family practice physician at Chernivtsy City Hospital in Ukraine, registered nurse at Ogden Regional Medical Center (Utah), and study coordinator and quality assurance associate at Jean Brown Associates, Inc., a Salt Lake City-based clinical research consultancy.

Dr Wayment is currently a member in good standing with the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
